Puppy Foundations
A package of private training sessions designed to set you and your puppy up for success from the start. Covers essential skills like name recognition, focus, recall, leash manners, crate/settle training, and polite greetings, along with guidance on socialization and preventing common behaviour challenges. These sessions build confidence, strengthen your bond, and give you practical tools to raise a well-mannered, happy puppy.

E-Collar Training
E-collar training is available for dogs 6 months and older and is fully customized to suit you and your dog. Each dog is carefully conditioned to the e-collar to ensure clear, fair communication, while building strong foundations, addressing unwanted behaviours, and progressing to advanced skills such as reliable recall and place training. This approach also helps handlers gain the confidence to manage their dog successfully in a variety of environments and real-life situations.

Prong Collar Training
Ideally suited for dogs 6 months and older, this program consists of a package of private sessions designed to build clear, consistent communication between you and your dog. When properly fitted and introduced, the prong collar is a safe and effective tool that provides guidance without constant pulling or frustration. Training focuses on leash manners, polite walking, and foundational obedience—giving you the skills and confidence to enjoy calmer, more enjoyable walks with your dog.

Puppy Socialization Classes
Held every Wednesday from 6:30–7:30 PM at St. James United Church Hall (Main Street, Antigonish). Classes are for puppies up to 20 weeks of age (no exceptions).
In a fun and supportive environment, we focus on safe socialization, confidence building, and establishing good manners from the very start. You’ll also receive practical training tips and guidance to help navigate common puppy behaviours. These classes lay the foundation for a happy, well-adjusted dog—while helping you feel confident and informed as an owner.
